Nabadzītes bija spontāns projekts, kas radās ES finansētā jauniešu nometnē ar nosaukumu ‘Black Box’ Brolinas ciematā Vācijā. Tur starptautiskas radošās nometnes rīkoja biedrība ‘Schloss Bröllin’ (broellin.de/en/) un dažus gadus ar Latvijas jauno mūziķu sūtīšanu uz turieni nodarbojās biedrība ‘Mūziķu apvienība Tornis’ (www.tornis.lv). Tajā laikā Aiga un Maija vēl spēlēja grupā Granātābolu Namiņš, bet Laura – Sirkē.

Nabadzītes was a spontaneous project that came into being in an EU-funded youth camp called ‘Black Box’ in the village of Bröllin in Germany.
There, international creative youth camps were organised by the association ‘Schloss Bröllin’ (broellin.de/en/), and for some years the association ‘Mūziķu apvienība Tornis’ (www.tornis.lv) was involved in sending young Latvian musicians there. At that time Aiga and Maija were playing in the band Granātābolu Namiņš, and Laura in Sirke.

Tornis Latvia

TORNIS Records started in 1991 in Rīga, the capital of Latvia. Until 2010 label was based in old water tower (‘tornis’ means ‘tower’), where bands were rehearsing and recordings were made.
